We were forced to do things a little differently again this year due to COVID restrictions, but we still managed to ensure all students participated in the Terry Fox School Run held on September 29th, 2021.

Thanks to the families who so graciously donated on our School Days website. We managed to raise $1309.00 for the Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre.

Thank you so much for your generosity. This year marked the 41st anniversary where over 800 million dollars has been raised in Terry’s honour. It would be difficult to say that we all don’t know someone who has been touched by cancer and Terry’s “Marathon of Hope” reminds us to keep striving to find a cure.

The 46th anniversary of the Terry Fox Walk took place in September with all students participating in the walk on Friday, September 25th. The Terry Fox Walk has now surpassed 1 billion in funds raised. Leading up to the event, students learned about Terry Fox, his “Marathon of Hope,” and completed various activities within their classes. Our Kindergarten classes showcased their research! The hallway walls were adorned again with messages of hope. Thanks Ms. Rodaway for organizing the activities and walk. We raised close to $500.00 through family donations. Thanks you!
